Youth United.

Connection. Action. Recognition.

Youth United’s volunteer council of passionate Winnipeggers age 16-24 makes sure Winnipeg youth are connected to valuable volunteering, learning and skills development opportunities that inspire & celebrate youth leadership.

Youth United works to fund and support youth-driven projects that connect young people with the community, provide them with the skills and help they need to take action on issues most important to them, and recognize them for their contributions.

What does Youth United make happen in our city?

These grants & activities show young people that their ideas matter, and that they can make a big difference.

Youth United COVID-19 Special Initiative

United Way Winnipeg’s Youth United Council initiated a conversation on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on youth in Winnipeg. The Council wondered how the pandemic was impacting youth like them and how it will change our world moving forward. Council members wanted to know how other students in high school and university were coping, how youth were managing their mental health, and if youth were still employed. Check out the full report and video here.
